About Q-SITE
Q-SITE is the Altoona Area School District's quality initiative. Q-SITE involves the teamwork of all who have an
interest in the school, to positively impact student achievement. Every elementary, the junior high school, and the
high school have a 10-member Q-SITE Council.
Each Council consists of the building principal, 4 teachers, 1 support staff, 3 parents and 1 community representative.
By collecting data and looking closely at results, these Councils coordinate the efforts of the school to develop,
implement and evaluate plans that will provide the finest education possible for all students.
