Fourth grade is an exciting time for students! It is considered the first intermediate grade.
In fourth grade this year, students will be READING every single day on their instructional level through our guided reading program. Students will also be expected to practice reading skills and improve their writing.
In math, our main units are place value, the four operations, fractions, decimals, measurement/data, and the application of all of these principles.
Fourth grade also has a strong focus on science, as we are testing science on the PSSA.
Please remind your child to come to school PREPARED every single day with an attitude/behaviors that show us that they are ready to learn!
