Welcome to our wonderful classroom!!

Hello! My name is Mrs. Caputo! I have been teaching for 25 memorable years, 24 of which have been at Pleasant Valley, my second home! I have been married to my wonderful and supportive husband, John, for 18 amazing years! We have 2 beautiful daughters, Gianna Angelina and Sophia Gabriella, who have always been my most productive and creative classroom helpers. I enjoy watching my daughters dance, tumble, play piano and sing! My daughter Gianna has also kept us busy at the track as she has become quite a great hurdler and jumper for AAJHS! In my spare time, I love to hang out with my family, that includes my 5 sisters, 1 brother and their fun-loving families! I also love the beach, camping in Cook Forest State Park, vacationing in Disney, riding roller-coasters, bike-riding and taking walks. My favorite food is Dino's pizza and any kind of yummy salads. My favorite sweet treat is peanut m&ms, Mrs. Ratchford's homemade chocolate chip cookies and anything dark chocolate! I have 2 adorable dogs that we adopted in 2012. Blankey is an 11 year old golden retriever and Skootie is a 7 year old Shih tzu. They completed our sweet family. Next to my family, my students are the love of my life! They have made my life so worth every beautiful day I have lived!! I'm so blessed and thankful!!
